Bonus Beach: Red Beach

Although the famous Santorini Red Beach is not one I’d recommend for your typical beach excursion, you definitely want to see it while you are in Santorini. The volcanic scenery at Red Beach is simply not to be missed. The striking red volcanic cliffs and sands stand out against the aqua blue waters of the sea making for an ethereal scene. The beach itself is very narrow with limited space for sunning, and there have been reports of rock falling from the cliffside in some places.

Bonus Beach: White Beach

The white beach is another must-see destination in Santorini. Only accessible from the sea by catamaran, the beach offers wonderful black sands set against striking white cliffs and the beautiful cerulean water of the Aegean. Visiting the white beach is an adventure of its own. Enjoy lounging on a catamaran, snorkeling and swimming, and enough seclusion on the beach that you’ll forget you're not on your own private island.
